The problems with teleport

The problem

We wanted our boss to be pretty cool so we really didnt want him to move like a normal enemy. We wanted him to be pretty menacing. What better than to have the boss teleport to the players face!

The solution

I rigged the animation blueprint to still have his idle animation that way when he spawns you dont have that split second of T-Posing because thats just super out of place. I then added a custom event in the actual blueprint for the boss that plays a special effect while teleporting. We didnt want an instantaneous teleport but we did want it to be fast.
